New Features

We have some exciting new features that are available in the new update for TurfPro Mobile, today! Get the details on the new features and how they work below.

Live Visual Insight

  • When you’re taking your POGO Samples, and after you’ve taken 3 samples in a zone, tap on the colored grid button that appears to enable Live Visual Insight.
  • Showing you your Visual Insight data live as you take your samples.
  • Available on Pro and Boost plans only.

Multi-Zone Sampling

  • Now if you take a sample that falls between overlapping zones, the POGO sample will automatically be added to each zone.
  • Essentially, the sample is duplicated between zones and available for Visual Insight in both of them.
  • This only applies to POGO samples only, not SPECs.

Zone Overlays for Templates

  • Any template-based zone can now add an overlay.
  • This includes sports field templates: Soccer, rugby, American football, field hockey, lacrosse, track&field, cricket, tennis.
  • Overlays can be moved, scaled, rotated, and have individual field markings toggled on or off.

Zone to Template Conversion

  • If you’re experiencing GPS issues, you can convert an existing zone into a template for easier sampling.
  • In Zone Settings, select “Create Template” under the Zone Boundary section.
  • This allows you to continue sampling within the zone without relying on GPS.
  • You can convert the template back to a GPS-based zone whenever needed.

Improvements

Assets Page Simplified

  • Before the Asset page had every asset icon listed, even if you didn’t have that asset placed on your course. Now, the assets page now only shows assets that you’ve already created and placed.
  • Below the existing assets is an “Add Asset” button, which allows you to select the specific Asset you’d like to add.

Changes

Legacy Custom Specs Hidden by Default

  • Legacy “Custom 1–9” specs are now hidden by default.
  • They can still be enabled under Company Administration settings.
  • If you were already using the “Custom 1–9” specs  then you’ll automatically have them enabled.

Fixes

  • Android: Fixed issue where spec value input could be hidden behind the keyboard.
  • Map Sampling: Only samples from the currently selected zone are shown on the map unless another zone is selected.
  • Sample Popups: Popups now include the zone name.
  • Zone Setup: Corrected the center star location on green images used during zone setup.
