Today, we’re introducing Jonathan, our Regional POGO Sports Turf Business Development Director.
Meet Jonathan
Jonathan has been part of the POGO team for 1 year, bringing an impressive 23 years of experience in the turf industry with him.
His role at POGO includes:
- Supporting POGO customers and distributors
- Providing product demonstrations
- Planning and testing hardware and software improvements
- Representing POGO at trade shows and industry events
With more than two decades of experience in turf, Jonathan brings valuable industry knowledge to his work with customers, distributors, and the POGO team.
Whether he’s demonstrating POGO in the field or working with the team to improve the products, his experience helps connect the technology to the real-world needs of turf professionals.
Bringing POGO to the Field
A big part of Jonathan’s role is helping turf managers understand how POGO can fit into their day-to-day workflows.
Through product demonstrations, customer conversations, and trade shows, he gets to see firsthand how different turf operations approach data collection and management.
That feedback is valuable to the entire POGO team. By working directly with customers and distributors, Jonathan helps identify opportunities to improve both the POGO hardware and TurfPro software.
His role isn’t just about demonstrating what POGO can do today. It’s also about helping shape what it can do tomorrow.
Favorite POGO Feature
When asked about his favorite POGO feature, Jonathan pointed to one of TurfPro’s newest capabilities: Live Visual Insight.
The feature allows users to see their data begin appearing on the map after just three samples, giving turf managers immediate visual feedback while they’re still out in the field.
Instead of waiting until an entire area has been sampled to start analyzing the results, users can watch their data come to life as they work.
For Jonathan, it’s a great example of how POGO continues to make data collection more visual, accessible, and useful for turf professionals.
23 Years of Turf Experience
Although Jonathan is relatively new to the POGO team, he’s certainly not new to the turf industry.
His 23 years of turf experience provide valuable perspective when working with customers and distributors. Understanding the challenges turf professionals face helps him demonstrate POGO in a way that connects the technology to practical, everyday applications.
From golf courses to other turf environments, every operation has different needs. Jonathan’s experience helps him understand those differences and show how POGO’s tools can be used to collect better data and make more informed decisions.
From supporting customers and distributors to demonstrating POGO, testing new improvements, and representing the company at industry events, Jonathan plays an important role in bringing POGO to turf professionals.
